Memory Keeping
There is no more special gift as something you can hand down
through your family. Memory Keepers hold an individual’s memories and treasures safe in a way that can be appreciated forever. When I mention treasures I am not talking about fortunes or high value riches that should possibly be held in a bank vault, the most valuable treasures that we possess are possibly the
trinkets that remind us of a particular time, event or person in our lives that brings a smile to our face each and every time we look at them. Those things that we have gone to throw out several times because they might seem irrelevant or be tarnished or broken but each time they are retrieved for a reason that eludes us. There are a myriad of ways to keep memories, depending on value, age,
size etc. I have made several “Memory Keepers” as I call them over the years and every time I look at them I find the smile gets bigger and the clarity of the memories seem brighter. Each memory has a story and interpreting the story into art and immortalizing the past is a precious gift to pass on.
We keep tins of old money from our OE we keep tickets from shows we attended with that special someone, we have badges and bling, babies first tooth, hair or handprint all of which are special but what to do with them so they don’t
get lost or thrown away. If you have something you would like to turn into a memory keeper or if you are just intrigued with the idea then give me a call and we can go over some options.
