SET OF 3 PAINTED HEARTS
Paint a set of 3 decorative Hearts. From a range of over a dozen designs you get to choose 3 to make your set. Choose your favourite colour from our range of 27 Passion for DIY chalk paint colours to complete your set. You will be guided through the painting process and how to apply a decorative finish to add character and charm. This is a 2 hour class that is relaxing, rewarding and fun. $40 all materials supplied Dates Available Tuesday 24th March 7-9pm or Thursday 7th May 7-9pm
Perspex Feathers Wall Art
Make a pair of 35cm Perspex Feathers. These feathers are made on perspex, using gold foil and Passion for DIY chalk paint. You will receive 2 unique perspex feathers, you will gold foil the tips then paint, scratch, scrape and painted some more. Because the perspex is the finished side you will be working the layers of paint layers backwards. Once you achieve your desired look you will add mounts and a D-ring so they are ready to hang. The cost is $40 and all materials are included in this price, (there is no extra charge for the fun and enjoyment you will have making them) Dates available Tuesday 5th May 7-9pm or Thursday 21st May 7-9pm Dates available😀😀😀 
Set of 3 Different Hearts
This workshop and consists of a plaster heart, wooden heart and perspex heart. Using several different techniques you will come out with a divine set of 3 hearts. The gem of this workshop is the perspex heart on which you will apply gold foil the then paint, scratch, scrape and paint some more. Because the perspex is the finished side you will be working the layers of paint backwards to achieve your desired abstract finish. The date for this workshop is Tuesday 31st March 7-9pm. $45.00 all materials included.
RESIN COLLAGE
Cutting out pieces for collage is relaxing and therapeutic and the finished result is so satisfying. Choose from several design images and papers to cut, arrange, paste and admire before adding a small quote or words of your choice. To top it off you will pour a layer of resin to cover your collage which will make it POP and give it a professional glass like finish. All of this is achieved in 2 hours but because of the drying time of resin you will not be able to take your masterpiece with you on the night but we will arrange getting it to you in a day or two when it is ready. $40 all materials supplied Dates available Thursday 16th April 7-9pm or Tuesday 28th April 7-9pm |
Mothers Day Mystery Create and Take Date Bring along your Mum or a friend or two and take part in this fun afternoon of making stuff. You will go away with 2 projects that will be a mystery until the time you open your bag of goodies ready to start. I assure you that the projects will be useable or giftable. $40 per person This special opportunity for spending time at Verdigris with your Mum or a friend will take place on Sunday 8th May 1-4pm. Complimentary afternoon tea will be provided.
Nine Block
Let your creative spark shine when you assemble a set of 9 Art Blocks by adding embellishments from a selection of found objects and discarded junk. if you are starting out on your Mixed Media journey then this is a great place to start. once your embellishments are chosen, assembled and attached to your blocks then you are ready to add texture and colour. In this workshop we will experiment with a variety of textures, colour washes and paint finishes which you will learn to make using only our Passion for DIY chalk paint. Through these processes you will achieve balance and depth that will give your project a cohesive finish. This workshop runs over 2 sessions and costs $65 all materials are included.
Container Candle & Fragrant Wax Tablets
Who doesn’t love the mellow fragrance of scented wax. Make a 1 container candle and 2 beautiful botanical scented wax tablets. Bring along your own vintage cup or other special container (up to 200ml volume) or you can use one of our selected containers. The wax tablets are decorated with dried flowers and can be hung in the wardrobe or tucked into your lingerie drawer to release a delicate fragrance. Personally I think they are to beautiful to hide away so mine sit on my dresser. You will be given basic candle making instructions and will get to take home your container candle and 2 wax tablets. $40 (bring your own container if you have something special to use or use one of our selected glass or China containers.) Making Art with Sue
This is a 6 week course where we will be creating art using various Mixed Media Techniques. Each week you will create a unique background and turn it into a piece of art with various techniques.. We will be covering such things as Image Transfer techniques, Resin Pouring, Collage & Decoupage, Rust Technique, colour wash, using different texture processes to create art & more No experience is needed, this is a great way to get started on your creative journey. The 6 week course is $125 or single session $25. Wooden Sign
Make a large wooden sign with a saying (approx 8-10words) or 2 single signs. Choose your words and let us know at time of booking so we can have them ready for you when you arrive. Paint your background colour, apply vinyl lettering, paint again and remove lettering to reveal your sign. $40 all materials are included.
