Passion or Addiction

​ Hello My name is Sue Hogan and I'm a 'Creataholic'.

My love of creating and my passion to share are the main motivations behind Verdigris Studio. I have been creating in some form or other for as long as I can remember and I was always encouraged to try new things and give everything a go. Although I may not have continued with everything I sampled, I always took something away from each experience, often adapting what I learnt into my next project. It's a bit of a Jack of all trades master of none scenario really, but that's how I like it because it gives me the freedom to experiment and explore with lots of different mediums and art forms, no structure , no boundaries, just heaps of satisfaction and fun.

I  also have to acknowledge just how very lucky I am to have the support and encouragement of my wonderful husband Peter who joins me on this journey. He keeps me grounded, helps me remain focused, he is my rock and together we are Verdigris. I don't think he realised what he was getting himself into when he married me and all my 'stuff.
