Christmas Stars (set of 3)
This workshop is now Full You can make these delightful starts that can be hung as a set or individually. Star 1 is a large wooden star base with lace, texture and a paper & wire wreath. Star 2 is a medium sized wooden star wrapped in calico with fairy lights inside and Star number 3 is wrapped plaster with stencilled texture design and painted to perfection There will only be 2 workshops for these starts with a total of 11 spaces in all so early booking is essential. Decoupage or Painted Hearts with Resin finish
From a range of over a dozen designs you get to choose 3 to make your set. Paint or decoupage, the choice is yours depending on the styles you choose. To top it off you will learn how to coat a moulded surface with resin and when the resin is cured your hearts will be ready to hang and admire. Painting Furniture and Other Stuff
If you are ready to take a step towards refreshing furniture and decor pieces in your home the look no further. This is something everyone can do and you will be surprised how quick and easy it can be and what an impact changing the colour or refreshing a single piece of furniture in your home can make. But beware... it is addictive, but in a good way. You get to bring along your own small piece of furniture, something the size of a small coffee table or bedside cabinet is ideal to start on. You will choose your colour from our Passion for DIY chalk paint range of 26 colours before being taken through some basic painting tips and tricks that will make your DIY painting furniture and transforming your home journey easier and more enjoyable. When painting with our Passion for DIY chalk paint there is generally no need for sanding, or priming and it will paint over most surfaces which is what makes it so special. So put all of those doubts aside and take the first step in making your home beautiful one piece at a time. $50 all materials supplied Saturday 3rd November 11am-3pm Sunday 18th November 11am-3pm 
Resin Collage
Cutting out pieces for collage is relaxing and therapeutic and the finished result is so satisfying. Choose from several design images to cut, arrange, paste and admire before adding a small quote of your choice. To top it off you will pour a resin coat to cover your collage which will make it POP and give it a professional glass like finish. All of this is achieved in 2 hours but because of the drying time of resin you will not be able to take your masterpiece with you on the night but we will arrange getting it to you in a day or two when it is ready. $40 all materials supplied |
Set of 3 Vintage Inspired "Thoughts" Tags
Make a gorgeous set of 3 Vintage themed "Thoughts" to give as gifts or to hang on the Christmas tree. We all know someone who needs a positive thought, a gentle hint of encouragement or who just needs a hug. These "Thoughts" have inspirational messages on them that will suit anybody and any occasion. * You will apply texture, paint and antique the base shape. * Choose your message and apply to a metal base tag and secure it to the shape. * Drill holes for hanging as well as for attaching your chosen tassel embellishment. * There is also an option to stamp the back with 'Thinking of you' so you can personalize it with a handwritten message. Resin Christmas Decorations
These resin decorations are a great way to add your own unique decorations to your collection. You will make a set of 6 round charms, 3 large oval decorations and 2 extra large Tag/Decorations. These can be used as Christmas tags or pop them into an envelope and send overseas for a cute lightweight gift. There is a large selection of images to choose from. Year after year these are a popular choice in our Christmas Workshop range. Made with doily, ribbons, lace, flowers and lots of flowing finery you can customize the colour, texture and decoration to your individual taste. Transform a plain plaster heart into an ornate Baroque style piece of art. Your Heart of Hearts will be a combination of resin aplliquess that you will choose from our extensive range and apply to your heart. A Special frame for a Special Memory
using Resin coated silk flowers. This workshop is crammed full of fun creativity. Starting with two basic wooden frames which you will turn into one chunky frame that will be the base for your special memory frame. You will turn silk flowers into porcelain like flowers with a resin mix that will give you the know how to go away and produce any amount of these flowers for future projects you might want to do. You will arrange pre prepared flowers and leaves on your frame and paint them to the colour of your choice to reveal your very own one of a kind special frame to show off your special memory. $50 all materials supplied. Christmas Trees (set of 3)
You will make these 3 styles of Christmas trees with embellishments. 1. A wooden tree made of framing moulding. 2. An embellished wooden tree in a painted pot 3. Slatted tree with texture or design with tassel embellishment. All of this for $65 all materials included. There are only 2 workshops scheduled for these trees with a maximum of 6 in each so early bookings are essential. The first is over 2 evenings Wed 24th & Wed 31st October 7-9 or Saturday 10th November 11-4
Embellished Album/Journal
These journal/albums make the most gorgeous gift that would be welcomed by anyone. These A5 landscape sized albums come complete with a full pad of black display paper that can have photos attached or written on with a metallic pen for journalling. You will paint, texture and decorate your journal with resin embellishments to your own unique style and put it together with cord and tassel if you wish. $40 all materials supplied Thursday 18th October 7-9pm or Tuesday 6th November 7-9pm 
Rust Effect
This is such an effective Faux paint finish. You can take a piece of wood, plastic, plaster or even paper and make it look like it has been rusting away for years. Learn different rust colour effects on sample boards and apply your favourite to your final piece. $40 all materials supplied 
Stencilled Pallet Wood Tray
Make one of these super cool serving trays for yourself or to give as a gift. Paint, stencil, add texture design and handles to a pre made pallet wood tray. $40 all materials included. 
Concrete/Stone Effect Sign
This is one of my favourites, turning a piece of wood into a sign that looks like it has been printed on to a slab of concrete or slate. You will choose your own quote or phrase as well as an image before being taken through step by step the process of layering different textures to achieve a concrete look. Once this has been achieved and your images have been applied using our transfer paper you will be able to admire your finished concrete look sign that no one will believe started from a piece of wood. $40 all materials supplied

Make a padded base and customise it to suit your style by adding a printed tissue along with delightful coloured serviettes from our extensive range to make a one off unique piece that has the look and feel of old leather. This is a new and exciting course suitable for anyone looking to try a new medium and who loves to experiment.
Collage and Encaustic in the same sentence, doesn't that just push your curiosity button. Telling a story with collage elements embedded and fused between layers of hot Encaustic Wax giving a sensual translucent effect ticks all the boxes of intrigue. Experimenting with this amazing age old medium on different backgrounds with different textures and printed images makes for hours of fun and excitement. This is a basic course over 5 evenings covering safety, tools, base preparation, getting to know the medium and at least 6 techniques to get you started on Encaustic Collage.
