First Week at Verdigris

Well our first week at Verdigris is nearly up and what a week, It has been so exciting and eventful.  We have had an amazing response to the studio and what we are doing there. I never anticipated the initial response as we have done no
advertising or anythimg yet. A list of names in the diary is waiting for our  return from the long awaited  holiday we are taking next week. We are off to KeriKeri for some sun, wining & dining and hopefully we will even get some fishing in. Oh and dont forget the real reason We are going "I need a hair cut" and that's where my haidresser lives.

Lots to do on the way, places to go & people to see to organise bits for the studio so all in all it will be a very eventful trip. Anyway on our return a definate list of classes will be posted and at this stage we are hoping to start them at the beginning of February so leave  a message, or leave a post on face book if you are interested in learning anything to do with, Working with plaster, working with resin, faux paint finishes, Background techniques, collage, altered art or basic working with encaustic wax.

If there is something else
you want to learn let us know and we will do our best to make it happen. if set classes aren't for you then maybe you would like to drop in and work with me during open hours to 
complete unfinished work or perhaps you just need a bit of motivation or inspiration to start something new.
So many options.

This is a plaster base where the pictures and other elements are covered in encaustic wax which is a mix bees wax and damar resin. So much fun to do.
